Carina Zimmert (born in 2004 in Mainz, Germany) is a professional drummer working across a wide range of musical genres as both as a live and studio musician.

She gained international experience through performances and studio productions at the International Jazz Festival in Havana, Cuba, in cooperation with the German Federal Foreign Office and the Ischool of Music & Art from New York City. As a sought-after sidewoman, she is involved in various musical projects and collaborations.

As part of the house band of Living Stage Frankfurt, she has performed with artists such as Diana Ezerex, Maiva and Faso, and has also worked with Pat Appleton (De-Phazz, Jazzkantine). She is currently a member of the Berlin-based fusion band Salzufer under René Decker and the alternative/indie band Post Clients.

Further highlights include performances as part of the WDR and 3sat television productions for the Grimme Awards 2025 and 2026 under the musical direction of Helmut Zerlett, as well as contributions to productions for Constantin Film, ORF and SWR.

Since 2021, Carina has been a member of the State Youth Jazz Orchestra of Rhineland-Palatinate, Phoenix Foundation, with which she has performed alongside renowned artists including Nils Landgren and Grammy-nominated arranger Michael Mossman.

Her achievements have been recognized with several awards, including the Special Prize of the Association of German Music Schools in 2021 and the Lower Saxony State Scholarship in 2024.

Carina is currently studying Pop Drums with a focus on Education Artist at Osnabrück University of Applied Sciences with Stephan Emig and Christin Neddens.

She is proudly endorsed by Sonor, Istanbul Mehmet, Rohema, Evans, PUR Cajon, Beyerdynamic and Hearsafe.

Since November 2025, she is also serving as a youth advisory board member of Percussion Creative e.V., a German non-profit association for drummers and percussionists that promotes exchange, education, and the development of percussion culture across all styles.
